A New Chapter

For as long as I can remember, stories have been the way I make sense of the world. I grew up in South Wales surrounded by people who told them well — in living rooms, on rugby sidelines, around kitchen tables — and somewhere along the way, I started writing my own. Four novels later, I’m still chasing the same thing: that spark of connection that happens when a story lands exactly where it needs to.

This website marks a new chapter for me. Not just as a writer, but as someone who wants to share more than what ends up between the covers of a book. I’ve spent years working in education, supporting young people, building creative spaces, and learning how powerful storytelling can be when it’s used to bring people together.

And that’s what this space is for.

Here, I’ll be writing about the things that shape my work: the craft, the chaos, the moments of hiraeth that sneak into every page, and the lessons I’ve learned from both the classroom and the blank page. I’ll also be sharing updates on my books, events, and the projects I’m building behind the scenes.

More importantly, I’m stepping into something new: talks, workshops, and speaking events. Over the years, I’ve seen how stories can open doors, shift perspectives, and spark confidence in people who didn’t know they had it. I want to bring that into schools, communities, and organisations that value creativity, resilience, and human connection.
